In an emotional evening for everyone at JELD-WEN field, honoring long time Timbers fan Gisele Currier, the Timbers delivered on the pitch as well with a 1-0 win over Real Salt Lake, widely considered the best team in MLS, and who had been unbeaten in their last 18 MLS regular season matches, going back to July, 2010.
