The Timbers have announced the trading of midfielder Adam Moffat, along with allocation money, for defenders/midfielders Lovel Palmer and Mike Chabala. In addition, the Timbers have loaned forward Ryan Pore to the Montreal Impact for the remainder of their season.
Lovel Palmer started Houston’s first 16 games this season, and is a Jamiacian international with 16 caps. Mike Chabala, who played for the USL Timbers for eight matches in 2006 while on loan, has made seven appearances with the Dynamo this season.
The Timbers also loaned Ryan Pore to Montreal for the remainder of their 2011 season. Pore has two starts for the Timbers this season.
