The Timbers U-23s are now 4 for 4 on the young league season, after Clark Phillips scoring the game winning goal as the U-23s defeated the Vancouver Whitecaps FC U-23 2-1 Saturday at the University of British Columbia’s Thunderbird Stadium.

Timbers defender Chris Harms had opened the scoring in the 11th minute, but the Whitecaps leveled the score in the 19th minute on a goal by midfielder Gagandeep Dosanjh.

The Timbers U-23s return home to host the Whitecaps FC U-23 on Friday, June 1, as part of a Health and Fitness School Day at JELD-WEN Field at 11am.
