U-23s drop second straight, 2-1 to Washington Crossfire

The Timbers U-23s three game road trip has not gotten off to a good start, dropping their second straight match with a 2-1 loss to the Washington Crossfire at Redmond High School on Wednesday night.

The U-23s were up 1-0 on a Andrew Ribeiro goal in the 3rd minute, but the Crossfire would level it on a late first half penalty kick, then Adam Mena Bonifacio would get the winning goal in the 65th minute.

The U-23s conclude their three game road trip vs. Kitsap at Bremerton on Saturday.
