After a disappointing road trip that saw the Timbers U-23’s only get one point in three matches, the Timbers returned to their winning ways with a 4-1 win over the North Sound SeaWolveS at Sherwood High School on Sunday.

Clark Phillips scored in the 20th minute off an assist from Erik Hurtato, with Hurtato scoring himself just five minutes later.  Hurtato would add a second goal in the 56th minute for a 3-0 lead, before the SeaWolves rallied for a goal by Kevin Cook in the 68th minute.

But Mark Sherrod added a fourth in the 71st minute for the Timbers for the 4-1 final.
