Timbers set a few records in Dallas, but none to be proud of in 5-0 loss

The Portland Timbers would suffer the worst loss of their MLS history on Saturday night, falling 5-0 to FC Dallas who were tied with the Timbers at the bottom of the Western Conference going into the match.

The Timbers also set a Major League Soccer record for longest road goalless streak in the match, breaking the record of 683 minutes which had previously been held by the New York Red Bulls.  With the shutout loss, the Timbers have now been shutout in seven straight road games, a total of 697 minutes since their last road goal vs. the Galaxy in April.
