The Portland Thorns played the San Diego Wave on Saturday night at Providence Park. San Diego would score first in the 56th minute when Savannah McCaskill put the ball into the bottom left corner from outside the box. But in the 86th minute, Olivia Moultrie took a free kick from just outside the box that deflected off the crossbar and the keeper then was put into the next on a follow-up by Reyna Reyes. The match would finish in a 1-1 draw.
