The Portland Thorns clinched a spot in the 2026 NWSL playoffs with a 1-0 win over the North Carolina Courage on a chilly night at Providence Park. The lone goal came in the 60th minute when a deflected shot was controlled by defender Marie Müller, who put a perfect shot into the upper right corner of the Courage net.
