The Portland Timbers rallyed for a 3-1 win over Club Tijuana in the final Leagues Cup match for the Timbers this year.<\/p>\n

In the 19th minute, Tijuana’s Alan Vega<\/strong> played a low cross from the left side that was knocked home by Mourad El Ghezouani, <\/strong>and the visitors had an early 1-0 lead.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But in the 40th minute, Portland’s Jimer Fory<\/strong><\/a> made a run down the left wing, then played a low cross across the goal mouth that Kevin Kelsy<\/strong> finished with his left foot, and the Timbers had tied the score at 1-1.<\/p>\n

In the 64th minute,  Kevin Kelsy<\/strong> collected a rebound at the post and played the ball back across the goal where Antony<\/strong> was open and finished easily to put the Timbers up 2-1.<\/p>\n

Then 12 minutes later, Antony<\/strong> made a run into the box and played a right-footed pass past the Tijuana keeper that was tapped in by Ariel Lassiter<\/strong>, which gave the Timbers a 3-1 lead, which would be the final score.<\/p>\n
