The Portland Timbers open their 2019 Major League Soccer campaign on the road in Denver on Saturday at 3:00 Pacific Time against the Colorado Rapids. It will be only the third time in nine MLS seasons that the Timbers have opened the season with a road game. The other seasons were 2011 and last season.<\/p>\n
