And after looking good for most of the first half, and feeling a bit unfortunate to be down 2-1 at the break, the Timbers had a poor second half and fell to the Galaxy by a 4-1 score.<\/p>\n<p>The Timbers would go down a goal in the 27th minute on a spectacular bicycle kick goal by Rayan Raveloson.&nbsp; But just a minute later, the Timbers would level it with a Jeremy Ebbobise goal to level the score at 1-1.<\/p>\n<p>But it would only take five minutes for the Galaxy to re-take the lead with a V\u00edctor V\u00e1zquez goal to make it 2-1.&nbsp; The Timbers had a lot of good chances throughout the first half but could not convert again and the score was 2-1 at the half.<\/p>\n<p>Then in the 53rd minute the Galaxy would be awarded a penalty kick on a foul by Steve Clark, and Sacha Kljestan converted straight down the middle to put the Galaxy up 3-1.&nbsp; And just like many of the goals on the night, it didn&#8217;t take long for another goal to go on the board, as Samuel Grandsir put in an open header to put the Galaxy up by a 4-1 score, which would be the final.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Portland Timbers travelled to Los Angeles for a Friday night match vs. the Galaxy.
