The Portland Thorns settled for a scoreless draw with Angel City FC on a sunny afternoon at Providence Park.
Neither team really seriously threatened to score in the first half, but the Thorns built more scoring momentum in the second half, including a shot off the post, but neither team could find the next in a 0-0 draw.
Angelina Anderson had the shutout for the visitors, while Mackenzie Arnold had the clean sheet for the hosts.
