The Timbers made their first trade of their MLS era on Monday, picking up NY Red Bulls defender Jeremy Hall for a third round draft pick. Hall is 22 years old and appeared in 13 matches for the Red Bulls before a quadriceps injury shortened his season. Hall was a star at the University of Maryland, helping to lead them to the 2008 NCAA Championship.
