The Portland Timbers made another major move, sending defender Jeremy Hall to Dallas for midfielder Eric Alexander.
Alexander has made 39 appearances for FC Dallas over the past two years. In his rookie year, the Indiana University graduate had two goals and three assists.
Hall was a starter at the beginning of the season but has seen less action since the acquisition of Mike Chabala, but recorded three assists on the season.
